Rusty Wilder

District E

Rusty is a lifelong resident of Central Louisiana.  He was elected by the citizens of District E in November 2019.  He is currently serving his first term on the Rapides Parish Police Jury.

Rusty currently resides in Boyce, Louisiana, where he has lived for the last 22 years.  He is the proud husband of wife Jennifer and together they have two wonder children, son-Austin and daughter-Peyton.

Rusty attended Holy Savior Menard High School and Louisiana State University.  He is also a member of St. Rita Catholic Church and he was married in St. Frances Xavier Cathedral in 1994. 

For the past twenty five years, he has been employed with Medical Technology, Inc. and is also an experienced licensed real estate agent with Crest Realty.  He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the National Rifle Association.

Rusty is currently serving as Chairman of the Grants, Economic Planning and Development Committee and Chairman of the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Program.  Also a member of the Alexandria/Pineville Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Transportation Policy Committee;Rapides Area Planning Commission; National Association of County Officials; and is also a member of the following committees for the Police Jury;  Financial Committee; Public Works, Watershed and Agricultural Affairs Committee; Coliseum Committee, Workforce Development and Municipal Liaison Committee; Courthouse and Tourism Committee; Parochial Board Liaison and Legal Committee; Personnel, Elections and Health Committee and insurance, Ambulance, Fire and Homeland Security Committee.

Rusty enjoys playing golf, boating and water sports, and especially spending time with his family.
