Rusty Wilder

District E

Rusty is a lifelong resident of Central Louisiana.  He was elected by the citizens of District E in November 2019.  Rusty is currently serving his 2nd year of his first term on the Rapides Parish Police Jury.

Rusty currently resides in Boyce, Louisiana, where he has lived for the last 22 years.  He is the proud husband of wife Jennifer and together they have two wonder children, son-Austin and daughter-Peyton.

Rusty attended Holy Savior Menard High School and Louisiana State University.  He is also a member of St. Rita Catholic Church and was married in St. Frances Xavier Cathedral in 1994.

For the past twenty five years, he has been employed with Medical Technology, Inc. and is also an experienced licensed real estate agent with Crest Realty.  He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the National Rifle Association.

Rusty is currently serving as Chairman of the Finance Committee. Also serves on the Public Works, Watershed and Agricultural Affairs Committee; Workforce Development and Grants Committee; Tourism and Economic Planning and Development Committee; Courthouse, Coliseum and Legal Committee; Parochial Board Liaison and Municipal Liaison Committee; Personnel, Elections and Health Committee and Insurance, Ambulance, Fire and Homeland Security Committee.
Rusty is also Chairman of the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Program.  Also a member of the Alexandria/Pineville Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO); Transportation Policy Committee; Rapides Area Planning Commission and National Association of County Officials.
 
Rusty enjoys playing golf, boating and water sports, and especially spending time with his family.
