Our free membership opens up a world of opportunity to help you locate that first job, new job, or better job. When you walk into the Center the first thing you will notice is professional staff to help you find a job or enhance your marketable skills. We have:
- A Skills Development Area filled with state-of-the-art equipment, such as computers, printers, and fax machines available for all your job search needs in locating jobs whether local, state, or nationwide.
- Expertise from professionals in resume building, interviewing techniques, and learning how to get and keep a job
- Skills Assessment and testing to help you match your skills to the right job
- Scholarship training is available in two-year and four-year technical colleges/universities and proprietary schools to help you acquire a credential needed for employment. WIA clients seeking classroom training will be allowed to choose an approved curriculum and training provider from the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL).
- Additional services available are recruitment and referral services, GED and Adult Literacy tutorials and classes, and guidance and counseling services
