Richard G. Vanderlick

District E

Richard Vanderlick is a lifelong resident of Rapides Parish.  Richard is serving his second term as Police Juror for District E.

Richard has been married to Joan Feazell of Boyce for 60 years and has three children, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also a member of St. Rita’s Catholic Church.

Richard is a 1957 graduate of Menard Memorial High School and also completed a correspondence course from Texas A&I.

Richard served in the U.S. Army Reserve for five years. He retired from CLECO in 1998 after 40 years of service.

Richard is currently Chairman of the Public Works, Watershed and Agricultural Affairs Committee for 2019. Richard also was Vice President of the Police Jury in 2012 and 2018. He is also is a member of the Finance Committee; Coliseum Liaison; Workforce Development and Municipal Liaison Committee; Grants, Economic Planning and Development Committee; Courthouse and Tourism Committee; Parochial Board Liaison and Legal Committee; and Insurance, Ambulance, Fire and Homeland Security Committee of the Rapides Parish Police Jury. 

He is a member of the National Association of County Officials and serves on the Human Services and Education Steering Committee.
