Theodore Fountaine, Jr. is 63 years in age and resides in the City of Alexandria.

He is a graduate of Peabody High School.  He has a Master's Degree plus 30 hours in administration and supervision.  His undergraduate and graduate degree is from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  He has further studied at Northwestern State University in Nachitoches, Louisiana.

He has served in the U.S. Army and the Louisiana National Guard with the rank of First Lieutenant and Captain respectively.

He is married to Theresa George Fountaine.  They have two children, Theodore III and Terri Anissa.

He is a member of Mt Triumph Baptist Church, where he serves as chairman of the Board of Trustees.  He is a retired principal in Rapides Parish.

He is a member of Silver Trowel Lodge No. 18 and an active member of the Alexandria Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi.

He is presently elected to serve as Police Juror in District D.

Mr. Fountaine is Chairman of the Parochial Board Liaison Committee and serves on the Courthouse, Economic Planning and Development Committee, the Public Works, Watershed and Agricultural Affairs Committee; the Workforce Development, Personnel, Fire and Homeland Security Committee; the Finance Committee; the Grants, Public Health and Tourism Committee; the Municipal Liaison, Legal and Elections Committee; and the Insurance, Ambulance and Policy Committee of the Rapides Parish Police Jury.
