John "Buck" Lincecum was elected in 1985 as Justice
of the Peace for Ward 10. He was elected to serve on the Rapides Parish Police

He has worked at Dresser, Inc. for forty two years. He held the position as
Manager of Labor Relations, Safety & Security when elected to the Rapides Police
Jury in 2007. He is a graduate of Georgetown High School and attended Louisiana
Tech for two years. He has resided at his current residence in Ball, LA
for the past thirty five years. He and wife, Glynda, have three sons,
Mathew, John and Luke. The have eight Grandchildren, Hailey, Julie, Casey,
Justin, Logan, Thomas, Tyler and Joshua. Buck and Glynda attend Palestine United
MeCommittees and Boards: Cenla Shrine Club, Masons, Ward 10 Recreation Board,
Coached Baseball & Softball at Ward 10 for twenty years, Justice of the Peace &
Constable Association (past President), Palestine United Methodist Men
President, Dresser Credit Union Board and currently serves as Chairman of
Workforce Development, Personnel, Fire and Homeland Security Committee fr the
Rapides Police Jury
