The Courthouse and Jail Maintenance Department is responsible for maintaining the Parish Courthouse and Detention Center #1. 

The maintenance technicians repair parish properties and schedule preventive maintenance to its equipment such as; A/C and heating. plumbing, electrical equipment. They also provide lawncare for the courthouse grounds.

Parish Inmate Labor Crews provide janitorial needs for the courthouse.
